Job description
Production Operative - PCB & Mechanical Assembly
Location: Eastleigh
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Role Overview
Responsible for maintaining output and quality levels across designated production lines, as well as ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the assigned work area.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble conventional PCBs and mechanical components to specification

Accurately identify and handle a wide range of electronic components

Perform potting and sealing of components and assemblies

Apply conformal coating as required
-
Ensure full compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards

Communicate effectively and contribute positively within the production team

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct

Carry out tasks as instructed by Production Manager or Supervisors

Desirable Skills & Qualifications

IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification (preferred)

Experience in hand soldering

Familiarity with basic product testing procedures
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate available after an initial qualification period.
Hours (37.5 per week) 7.30am - 4pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7.30am - 1pm (Friday)
Pay: £13.28 per hour
