Job description
Our client, a leading name in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join their team. This permanent position offers a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Resolving technical support queries predominantly around MS Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Working from an ITSM tool, using ITIL processes
- Collaborating with service desk colleagues and working within a small group of business systems specialists
- Occasionally supporting incidents/P1s sometimes at unsociable hours
- Escalating issues to systems integrators and other third-party support partners when necessary
- Identifying and implementing improvements using knowledge of D365 BC
- Supporting BC enhancement and change projects, delivering training, guiding and documenting testing pre and post-release
- Identifying opportunities for enhancing Business Central and proposing changes with management support
- Supporting pre and post-implementation testing activities on enhancements and releases
- Providing guidance and training to teams through standard operating procedures for all routine BC tasks
Job Requirements:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and excellent attention to detail
- Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills at all levels, able to present complex data to various audiences
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and in team settings
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, users, and peers
- Adaptability to change and challenges with a flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, including good training abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a Retail Head Office environment is essential
- Hands-on experience of at least 3 years with D365 BC support, preferably in a retail setting
- Knowledge of Finance, Buying and Merchandising, Logistics, and Warehousing is advantageous
- Strong understanding of ERP analytics solutions
- Knowledge of JSON/XML, AIS, LogicApps, PowerBI, T-SQL is beneficial
