Our client, a dedicated data centre delivery partner, is currently seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in Helsinki, Finland. This is a permanent, full-time position in the Engineering sector within the specialised field of Data Centres.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Management team and Site Health & Safety lead
• Adhere to project & client's Safety Management Systems
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation
• Review Method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action, and permit to work
• Carry out regular site audits and inspections, documenting results and following up on any corrective actions
• Maintain records of statutory inspections for project activities, tools, and plant
• Ensure project sub-contractors adhere to EHS policies & procedures
• Coordinate, manage, and maintain client's induction & training
• Compile and deliver Toolbox talks as necessary
• Assist or conduct accident investigation reports and communicate findings to project management
• Maintain welfare & hygiene facilities and ensure waste reduction and recycling programmes are upheld

Job Requirements:

• Relevant third-level degree qualification in Health & Safety
• Experience in large construction sites and thorough knowledge of current EHS legislation
• Flexibility in working patterns when necessary
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health, and safety issues on site
• Must have an EU passport.
