Job description

Our client, a prominent consultancy within the water sector, is currently seeking a Hydraulic Network Modeller to join their team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilising Infoworks ICM models to assess system performance and identify effective solutions to resolve identified deficiencies.
• Assessing hydraulic models of urban drainage networks (foul and surface water systems) using Infoworks ICM.
• Conducting capacity assessments with Infoworks ICM models.
• Identifying and developing solutions for urban drainage issues using Infoworks ICM.
• Undertaking hydraulic checks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, client specifications, and UK best practice.
• Collaborating with internal and client design teams to develop capital schemes.
• Preparing technical reports.
• Supervising, supporting, and developing junior modelling staff.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of InfoWorks ICM.
• Experience working for a UK Water Company.
• Experience in modelling and designing engineering schemes.
• Proficiency in using GIS software (ARCGIS, MapInfo, or QGIS).
• Competency in MS Word and Excel.
