Job description

Our client, a leading Formula 1 team, is currently seeking experienced Composite Fitters to join their dynamic team on an ongoing contract basis. For the right individuals, there's potential for temp-to-perm conversion based on performance and attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling, trimming, and finishing high-performance composite components such as wings, bodywork, suspension parts, and floors
• Interpreting and following detailed engineering drawings and build specifications
• Carrying out bonding and surface preparation using adhesives, resins, and sealants
• Ensuring all work meets dimensional tolerances, cosmetic standards, and performance criteria
• Collaborating closely with engineering and inspection teams to resolve build issues
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and adhering to all health and safety standards
• Supporting race build and development projects under tight time constraints

Job Requirements:

• Experience in F1 composite fitting, or significant experience in high-level motorsport
• Deep knowledge of composite materials, tools, and bonding techniques
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team
• Flexible, professional attitude and willingness to work long hours if required
• Reliability, consistency, and pride in your craftsmanship

• Weekend Days Fitter - Ideal for those who prefer a condensed work schedule
• Nights Fitter - For candidates who thrive in a quieter, focused environment
