Our client, a leading player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Groundworker to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves preparing land for construction, with tasks such as site clearance, excavation, and foundation preparation. Groundworkers collaborate closely with other construction professionals, adhering to safety regulations and utilising tools like excavators and various other equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Preparation:
  This includes clearing vegetation, removing old infrastructure like pipes or drainage, and clearing debris from the site.
• Excavation:
  Groundworkers dig trenches for foundations, utilities, and other subsurface installations, often using excavators and other machinery.
• Foundation Preparation:
  They prepare the ground for laying foundations by grading, levelling, and compacting the soil, ensuring it is suitable for the structure.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in groundworking
• Knowledge of site preparation, excavation, and foundation preparation techniques
• Proficiency in using construction machinery like excavators
