Job description

Our client, a leading Consultancy n the engineering sector, is currently seeking an experienced Motor Control Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is offered outside IR35, presenting an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge motor control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing advanced motor control algorithms, including Field Oriented Control (FOC) and Vector Control
• Designing, testing, and validating control systems to meet project requirements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems
• Conducting system-level analysis and troubleshooting to optimise performance
• Preparing detailed technical documentation and reports

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in motor control engineering
• Strong competencies in Controls Systems and Systems Engineering
• Knowledge of Field Oriented Control (FOC) and Vector Control for Brushless Motors
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication abilities to articulate technical concepts clearly
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
