Job description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in Quality Assurance looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development of Management systems and updating and reviewing documents
• Assist and support the Quality Manager with effective day-to-day Quality Assurance activities
• Coordinate the logging and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports, ensuring robust corrective actions are established and implemented
• Assist with Corrective Action Requests and Root Cause Analysis
• Coordinate the communication of technical files and specifications
• Coordinate the recording of site-based reworks and product orders
• Promote QESH principles and a customer focus throughout the company
• Follow through on quality actions to ensure closure

Job Requirements:

• Experience as a systems-based Quality Engineer
• Manufacturing-based experience essential
• Experience in process development and improvement
• Previous involvement in third-party audits
• Full UK Driving License, preferably clean
• Understanding of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 an advantage)
• Competent in all aspects of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Internal auditor training to ISO 9001 or higher is advantageous
