Our client, a leading player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Site Agent for a major construction project. This contract role involves overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The position entails managing teams, resources, and subcontractors, as well as maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management:
Directing and coordinating all on-site operations, including the allocation of resources, and ensuring work is carried out according to the project plan and specifications. - Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance:
Implementing and enforcing safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the site adheres to environmental policies. - Quality Control:
Monitoring work quality, identifying and addressing defects, and ensuring that all work meets the required standards and specifications. - Project Planning and Execution:
Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, as well as adapting to changes and resolving any issues that arise.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in managing major construction projects
- Understanding of HTP sector regulations and standards
- Proven competence in site management, including resource allocation and project scheduling
- Strong knowledge of HSE compliance and ability to conduct risk assessments
- Excellent quality control skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for interaction with clients and stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant construction or engineering qualification
