We're looking for a Full Stack developer who will take a key role on our team. Our Full Stack developer must have knowledge in all stages of software development.


The Job

  • Configuration Management focused on deployments
  • Developing front end website architecture.
  • Developing back end website applications.
  • Develop data base architecture and interactions.
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Working alongside graphic designers, product line managers, data scientist for web application features.
  • Seeing a project through from conception to finished product.
  • Designing and developing APIs.
  • Designing and developing microservices.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Job Requirements:

  • Configure and deploy complex software solutions.
  • Design overall architecture of the web application.
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.
  • Experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements.
  • Highly experienced with back-end programming languages Ex: Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Proficient experience using Javascript and front end frameworks Ex: Angular 6, ReactJS, etc.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}.
  • Proficient experience using database languages Ex. SQL, MongoDB (NoSQL - Object Oriented), OSI PI (NoSQL Timeseries)
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers
  • Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
  • Kepware ideal

This role will be on a team sized between 5-10 individuals that will possibly be located in a variety of time zones. Due to a variety of time zones that this team works in, there will be the requirement of flexibility for working hours. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Early morning meetings (as early as 6-7AM CST)
  • Late afternoon meetings (as late as starting at 5PM CST)
  • 24-hour support coverage by team as needed for operations (though not expected to be very frequent).
  • The idea is that responsibilities will include supporting operations efforts as needed.

A software development backlog will be run out of the company-hosted JIRA environment, coupled with information that can be gleaned from the company wiki space built specifically for the Rigsentry team. Code is managed through company-hosted epositories. The team is expected to adhere to a Scrum workflow, to promote agile decisions through the development for this application.
