Regional Planning Manager
Southern Water are looking for an experienced regional planning manager to join their team in their Worthing offices
Southern Water is currently looking for a Regional Planning Manager to join our team in Durrington. Key outputs from this leadership role, will be the development of population and household growth forecast data, liaison with local authorities on development plans to identify likely investment needs associated with growth and new development, over the 5-25 year investment period. This is a great opportunity that comes in a package with an attractive salary of up to £58,500.
In this role you will be responsible for managing the strategic, tactical and project level planning policy interfaces with all Southern Water stakeholders including regulators, local authorities, stakeholder groups and developers. You would also be accountable for providing input, direction and support for business issues associated with new development as well as for population and household forecasts. You will develop and manage a team of up to 5 direct reports and provide coaching and support in a way which helps them to continually improve their performance and develop their skills.
To be successful for this role you must have a Degree in Science, engineering, town planning (or any other numerate subject). Ideally you will also have a significant experience in strategic planning, preferably with knowledge of the water sector and have a track record of completing multi-disciplinary work programmes to time and quality for the production of submissions as well as managing internal and external resources beyond direct line management.
