Position Description:

Power Supply Systems is an area within the Powertrain Electrification Group the designs all areas of power generation, storage, management and off-board charging for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. We have responsibility for all levels of vehicles, from conventional cars, through micro-hybrid, mild hybrid, plug-in and full electric vehicles. The Power Systems Application Engineer is responsible for taking and agreeing requirements, along with the relevant test cases and validating the system design, culminating in full system sign-off

 

Skills Required:

3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

1)Must have experience of interacting with other system owners to ensure all interfaces are correct and be capable of testing functionality from subsystem up to full-vehicle level

2)Experience of Mathworks/Simulink environment (Matlab / Simulink / Targetlink)

3)Ability to communicate complex technical concepts, data and conclusions within the team and to stakeholders

 

Experience Required:

Degree in Engineering, Software or related discipline

 

Experience Preferred:

Knowledge of automotive product development Have a problem-solving mind set for root cause analysis of issues.
