Inspection Team Leader
Inspection Team Leader with proven supervisory/team leader experience and a strong inspection background (including CMM) is required to work in Leamington Spa in a permanent position.
We are looking for an Inspection Team Leader to work for an Automotive company based in Leamington Spa.
You will have a team of 11 inspectors who work across a 3 shift pattern providing 24 hour service that you need to ensure is running smoothly, hitting KPI's, problem solving and extensive inspection knowledge.
Your duties will include:
A passion for working in a precision engineering environment
Strong inspection discipline - ideally from an Aerospace or Automotive background
Be able to inspire and motivate members of your team
Metro logy/materials background in a precision machining environment is essential
Knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerances related inspection practices
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of methodologies such as Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen and root cause analysis
You must have the following skills/experience:
Attention to details
Ability to manage multiple demands at the same time
Ability to understand a customers quality expectations
Understanding of a machine shop environment
Ability to be able to deal with client and team situations
Ideally HNC/HND in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent
Practical engineering background in inspection ideally in a machine shop environment
The salary is between £30,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience.
