The Job

My client a non governmental department body have an immediate requirement for a regional project manager. working on a permanent basis this immediate requirement is for a senior project manager covering a central region in scotland. Based from home and with significant local travel required the role will involves project management of a portfolio of hazard, enquiry and subsidence projects associated with legacy mining projects.

Schemes will include but not limited to sudden ground collapses, mine entry collapses, emissions of water or gas, subsidence claims, building & structral problems and occasionally spontanious combustion of coal all associated with former mine workings.

Applicants should be qualified to HND or degree level (or equivalent) in a surveying, civil or mining engineering and have significant experience in project management ideally with a recognised project management qualfication or proven experience in project management.
