Clean Water Modeller
My client is looking for a Clean Water Modeller to join their team based in Liverpool. You will be assisting in the delivery of a range of water network projects.
*Preparing hydrant schedules for the field-based technician teams to follow
*Assisting the Team Leader in ensuring Health and Safety packs are up to date
*Collating and analysing recorded flow and pressure data
*Preparing reports for the client
*Maintaining good client relationships.
*Attending and contributing to project meetings internally and with clients
*Undertaking own continuing professional development under guidance from Line Managers.
*Operating in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environmental and quality standards.
*Work will require travel in the UK to office and / or sites.
1 to 2 years minimum Experience of Modelling software such as Infoworks WS, Infowater, Synergee and MapInfo GIS software would be an advantage.
Experience of delivery for multiple clients would be advantageous but not essential
You will hold a water/engineering/environmental degree, and ideally be progressing towards professional membership of a relevant institution. You will have a broad understanding of water projects within the UK Water Industry.
You will be skilled in undertaking technical analysis of water assets, and helping to produce technical reports.
A full UK Driving Licence is advantageous.
You will have good presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative on technical matters, and provide guidance to others within the team.
Knowledge and experience of clean water networks is an advantage. Good IT skills are paramount (in particular MS Office), as well as the ability to pick up new, client specific software. This role is client facing, so professionalism and excellent communication skills are a must. You must be flexible - able to work alone and as part of a team.
