C++ Software Engineer working on projects for Spacecraft mission control. You will be working on software projects in C++ for Ground Segment Stations used in Space missions.

The Job

C++ Software Engineer working on projects for Spacecraft mission control. You will be working on software projects in C++ for Ground Segment Stations used in Space missions.

A strong background in Science, Mathematics or engineering, C++ and ideally Java is essential for this role.

A Strong Foundation of Skills

A good foundation in Science, Mathematics or engineering is important to this role. You will be working in C++ (Linux) and Java (Eclipse) in a regulated environment to produce essential systems for spacecraft.

Desirable skills - This is a varied role, experience to any of the following would be advantageous for the role but not essential.

  • SVN Or GIT
  • Linux
  • Eclipse IDE / RAP / RCP
  • UML
  • Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Gerrit, XML

Ideal:

Experience with the following is not expected but would be extremely desirable:

  • Experience on development of M&C systems based on SCOS 2000.
  • ECSS standards for space software development
