Planned Maintenance Engineer
A leading UK container terminal based in Southampton are looking for a Planned Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
To ensure that in line with Asset Management and Reliability Centre Maintenance best practice, all equipment on the terminal has the optimum planned, preventative maintenance regime to meet the business needs and minimize life cycle costs.
This role will involve undertaking regular reviews of all planned maintenance to ensure that they are set up and are completed based on the following:
Job Plans contain labour norms and parts required
All tasks address failure modes and help extend or eliminate such failures
There are clear and precise task instructions with required information to get consistent applied standards
Acceptance and discard criteria are clearly defined in line with OEM recommendations
Where possible intrusive tasks are replaced with condition monitoring techniques
Act as the focal point for predictive maintenance and centre of excellence for asset condition monitoring techniques including but not limited to those highlighted below:
Precision Alignment and Balancing.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Candidates will have completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship and an appropriate academic achievement such as City & Guilds, BTEC ONC or HNC equivalent. All candidates must have a sound working knowledge of planned, preventative maintenance techniques and ideally level 2 in one or more areas of asset condition monitoring techniques.
