Based in the metal shop, you will be involved in the fabrication and welding of metals used for the production of luxury yachts
To prepare and assemble metal components for welding and subsequent welding
Use hand and machine tools to cut, drill, linish and bend stainless steel components.
Assemble finished parts.
Welding of metal fabricated items using MIG, TIG and MMA.
Use oxy-acetylene for cutting/burning
Use a varied range of hand and machine tools and use of patterns for hand forming
Apprentice or similar training as a Welder
£19.00/h Ltd/Umbrella company
£14.71/h PAYE plus £1.77 holiday credit
Basic working week:
38 hours, Monday - Thursday 7am-5pm (9.5 hour days).
Overtime is but is paid at at premium.
