Engineer required with Mechanical and Electrical knowledge for Defence industry client
Our client are looking for an experienced Engineer that has knowledge of the design and implementation of bespoke equipment enclosures or can demonstrate knowledge of the mechanical and electrical competencies required.
The successful candidate will be will be responsible for working with, and managing the Enclosure sub-contractor, ensuring that all of the exacting standards, requirements and delivery deadlines are adhered to.
Being able to understand Mechanical and Wiring Schematic diagrams is essential as is a high level of attention to detail.
Deliveries include the 'Fitted-for', 'As-Made' drawings, Production Tech Specs (PTS), all supporting documentation and final delivery of all Fit-For-Purpose enclosures to their customer base.
The successful candidate will have an engineering related degree or proven experience as well as strong Mechanical and Electrical knowledge. Good communication skills are required as you will be dealing with sub-contractors and previous experience of enclosure design would be desirable.
The chosen candidate will also need to secure MOD security clearance.
This position is initially for 6 months but could last longer depending on work volumes
Up to £35.00 per hour (PAYE) or £45.43 per hour (LTD)
