The Job

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Civil/Structural, Construction Engineer responsible for on-site monitoring, reporting, witness & inspection to verify that the requirements of the contract / design are being fulfilled to meet safety, quality, programme and cost objectives.

In this role you will monitor daily work activities and report progress and issues to the Construction Manager and ensuring all works are installed and executed in accordance with the contract documents.

As the Construction Engineer you will be responsible maintaining an accurate detailed daily site diary of site conditions, progress and the resources available to undertake the work activities throughout the construction phase. Alongside, monitoring and recording deliveries to site to ensure that the condition of the load meets the standard, that the items are handled correctly, packaging is intact and that storage facilities are appropriate.

We are looking for the Construction Engineer to have:

Practical construction experience.
Previous experience of construction management.
ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
Ability to organise and execute complex construction projects and analyse results.
Membership of appropriate professional institute (Preferred)

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the role.
