Senior Pharmacy Technician
We are currently looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technician to work for a leading private healthcare provider based in Hampshire
What does the role of Pharmacy Technician entail?
Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager, as a Senior Pharmacy Technician you'll be responsible for providing an exemplary specialist technical service that supports the Pharmacy Department and other areas of the hospital that stock medicines. You'll be responsible for assisting in not only the delivery of pharmaceutical care but also in assessing people's health and wellbeing within the context of their medicines. You'll manage and move medicines where required, and constantly contribute to quality improvement and the safe and effective use of medicines.
What do I need in order to be considered for this Senior Pharmacy Technician role?
Proven experience of working in a pharmaceutical department, with demonstrable experience of administrative duties i.e. data checking and charging
Qualified in Pharmaceutical Sciences to B Tech, City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 standard or equivalent
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
- Previous hospital experience

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 7.5 hour shifts on a rota between 8.30am and 5.50pm. Flexibility will be needed to work occasional Saturdays
