An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Lead within the R&D team of an industry-leading client, working at the cutting edge of Robotics and Automated Systems.

The Job

This opportunity is for someone to join a growing Product Development team in a Technical Lead position, for the R&D of new engineering capabilities.

This role will involve being a Technical Authority of multiple projects, and training & mentoring a small team to become experts in their areas. The ideal candidate will have an electronic or electro-mechanical engineering background with a strong foundation of maths/science.

This opportunity gives the chance to work on never before seen concepts and pushes the boundaries of what is technically possible.


  • Technical background with experience in complex problem solving and technology evaluation.
  • Multi-skilled technical expert.

Experience in the following would be advantageous:

  • Systems Engineering
  • Electrical/Controls Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Robotics/Machine Vision
  • Motion control
  • Safety systems and CE marking
