The Job


Position Description:

Process Implementation Lead: Lead and facilitate process improvement activities through process design, development & delivery implementation of key initiatives to aid the Engineering, Cross Functional and Programme delivery teams. Engage and work with all levels including senior management, up to and including Director level to deliver the change agenda through delivery of major transformational projects.

Responsibilities: Create effective processes, operating models, governance and practical tools

Take responsibility for the development (work-stream leader) of new and modified JLR processes/improvement projects which deliver effective and efficient engineering Lead discussions which achieve agreement to the developed processes, at the working level and Director level Lead the deployment of new processes/tools into the JLR business, developing and delivering training and coaching material where appropriate; this may include developing, leading and presenting at training events Be an advocate and leader in the continual improvement of processes owned by JLR, using LEAN principles, the application of 6-sigma methodology and the application of local process improvement methods Facilitate workshops, interdepartmental and senior reviews

Interpersonal/Team player/relationship building skills

Project Management or Business Analysis (Both Required)

Process development

Experience Required:
Engineering degree, or equivalent Technical background within engineering and/or manufacturing

Numerate with problem solving and data manipulation ability

Successful project delivery Scheduling experience

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience as facilitator or trainer.

Team player as well as ability to work independently Process engineering , mapping & improvement

Ability to build relationships at all levels up to director.

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office.
