Senior Naval Architect
We are currently looking for an experienced Naval Architect for a busy international maritime consultancy specialising in design and build who have a remarkable reputation for quality of work.
Our client operates across the commercial and leisure sector so experience working with similar vessels to include large passenger vessels would be of an advantage, please see below list of role duties:
- Stability and structural analysis
- Project management
- Vessel survey work
- Technical Report writing
- Design calculations
- Concept design
- Detailed design
- Design developments
- NAPA software experience is a must
- Technical drawings
- Incline experiments
We are looking to hear from those who have worked in a design office, ideally having experience face to face with clients. General experience across the entire Naval Architecture disciplines is ideal rather than a specialist due to the variety of work available. You will need to be comfortable attending site visits and commissioning trials. Exposure to shipyard work is also an advantage for our client, you will need to enjoy visiting clients and getting out of the office to see your work in action and building key relationships. You must have experience in using NAPA software to be considered.
