Production Maintenance Technician
Our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Production Maintenance Technician to join their growing team in Petersfield.
The Maintenance Production Technician on our 4 on 4 off night shift, these are fixed nights 7pm-7am and attract a high shift allowance
To support site production equipment repairing and maintaining equipment in a safe compliant manner.
Provide best possible equipment availability for delivering site KPI's.
Ensure equipment is fully maintained for its full lifecycle in accordance with OEM recommendations and resolve equipment failures in an efficient, effective manner.
Pro-active team working with peers, customer, and support groups to improve equipment reliability and performance driving site KPI's and other company initiatives.
Seek and implement continuous improvements to equipment and processes and fully participate in a LEAN culture.
Actively support engineering projects and improvements to maintain and enhance the site's competitive edge.
Share knowledge and coaching of others to meet operational requirements.
Support 24 hour Site Production Operations and pro-actively engage with all departments to supply an effective, efficient, compliant service on a Right First Time basis.
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance. Identify and implement continuous improvements opportunities to increase equipment efficiency, effectiveness, reliability and process robustness.
Provide engineering support for production activity to meet customer requirements and site operations where required.
Provide pro-active, flexible support to Production activity with change overs, set-ups, change parts and skills transfer
Actively build internal and external departmental relationships. Support cross functional activity relating to Safety, Quality and Project Work etc. with supporting documentation.
Promote safe systems of work, adhering with Safety, Compliance, GMP and Audit working practices.
Maintain skills and knowledge of equipment and changing technologies with training and sharing of best practices with peers and other support groups.
Participate in company initiatives as Subject Matter Expert to seek resolutions to common issues.
Adhere to Regulations and Legislative working practices.
