Based in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, this is Canada's most exciting shipbuilding project for over 30 years. With a new facility and cutting edge technology, they are building the next generation of defence ships for the Royal Canadian Navy.


Experience on large and complex defence engineering projects

The Job

The CMS Software Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, overseeing and coordinating the Subcontractor's requirements across engineering, design, integration, installation and test. They will also work closley with the Subcontractor to:

  • Develop the CMS software requirements specification documentation and CMS software assurance documentation
  • Establish all subsystems and system & software design descriptions
  • Provide full engineering support in evaluating software change activities


  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent
