Based in the beautiful city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, this is Canada's most exciting shipbuilding project for over 30 years. With a brand new facility and cutting edge technology, they are building the new ships for the Royal Canadian Navy.


Previous experience in naval new build environment

The Job

The Production Director will lead, direct and manage a team of specialist engineers and / or production employees in a new build ship construction environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leadership of production engineering and planning function in support of shipbuilding
  • Continuous review and allocation of resources and materials to ensure optimal utilization in order to meet schedule and budget requirements
  • Streamline the ship production processes, with an emphasis on process design for cost and cycle time reduction

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in an Engineering, Leadership, Manufacturing or related discipline
  • Proven experience in a Management capacity on a new uild naval defense shipbuilding environment
