Senior Planning Policy Officer
My client based in the East of England has asked me to assist them in recruiting a Senior Planning Policy Officer on a permanent basis, with some excellent benefits available.
My client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planning Policy Officer or Senior Planning Policy Officer on a permanent basis.

Salary: £32,000 - £36,000
Tasks and duties:
Preparation, monitoring and review of the Local Plan
Undertake research and analysis on a range of planning policy issues as required
Assist in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of the Council's spatial planning policies, taking key responsibility for specific issues/themes to be agreed
Prepare supplementary planning guidance, policy statements and development briefs, including the necessary consultations
Experience and qualifications
A degree & professional qualification in Town & Country planning
Full membership of the RTPI
Local authority experience
At this time and for the foreseeable future they are working mainly from home, with no more than 20% of the council's workforce in the office at anyone time.
