The Job

Digital Electronics engineer working on projects in communications. It is essential that you have either experience or an interest in learning FPGA design.

This is an exciting and flexible workplace, offering a range of projects, a healthy mix of problem solving, innovation and high quality engineering for a range of customers including the MOD, research groups, Universities and private customers.

Due to the nature of some projects you will need to currently hold, or be eligible for, SC clearance.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong foundation in digital electronics design
  • The ability and interest in contributing to electronics projects across a range of industries and disciplines
  • Experience or an interest in learning FPGA design
  • Experience of Embedded C/C++

Desirable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of radio systems
  • SDR (Software Defined Radio) or DSP platforms
  • DSP algorithm development skills
  • Knowledge of one or more defence disciplines, such as Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence, Radar, or GNSS.
