Machine Maintenance Engineer
Introduction
We are currently looking for a Machine Maintenance Engineer to join a leading global technology business based in Northampton on a permanent basis.

The Job
The ideal candidate will have a strong Electrical and/or Mechanical Maintenance background with previous machine shop CNC maintenance and general machine tool equipment experience. Also the selected candidate will have experience of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain CNC controls. ABB / Fanuc robot cells and/or FMS systems would be an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
The role would be responsible for supporting production equipment with a view to continuous production/improvement. As well as implementing and carrying out detailed scheduled preventative maintenance, ensuring a smooth running of the facility.
Initially starting on a Day shift however long term will be Double Day Shift
