My Client, a leading well established UK Defence company basedin Stafford are looking to recruit x4 Electronics Engineer contractors to come on board and work on their next generation projects. All roles are inside IR35.

The Job

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysis of electronic circuits
  • Design and development of electronic circuits
  • Design assurance testing of electronic circuits
  • PCB Layout review
  • Undertake engineering Tasks as required by the project and the business in support of projects and programs
  • Undertake internal and external meetings as required by the business
  • Document appropriately the work and activities undertaken in line with local operating procedures

Personal attributes


  • Educated as a minimum to Degree level in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Rapid learner, flexible and adaptable engineer willing to undertake varied tasks related to the support of the electronics and surrounding system
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently when under pressure
  • Understanding of basic analogue design
  • Understanding of basic digital design
  • An understanding of schematic capture and drawing review
  • Wiring definition experience
  • Circuit simulation
  • Eligibility to hold full SC security clearance


  • Have experience in PCB Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis
  • Knowledge of 'Zuken Cadstar' an advantage
  • Knowledge of 'Altium - Designer' an advantage
  • Experience of designing with FPGAs
  • Will already possess SC security clearance
