Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Suitable candidates must be competent in commissioning high energy systems - specifically Hydraulics, experience of High Pressure Air is desirable.
Previous experience of operation / STW of large hydraulic equipment e.g control surfaces, masts & scopes, windlass etc is also required.

Submarine experience is preferred though candidates from a marine defence background will be considered.
Candidates will need to hold current SC clearance.

Initially a 6 month contract (with potential of extension)

Hours:
A 36 hour week, rotating days (0730-1500) / back (1530-2330) shift pattern
Additionally there is the availability to work overtime on a back shift & weekends.
An uplift applies to back shift and weekends.
