  • Analysis of data to accurately quantify and specify energy reduction projects
  • Production of technical reports, summarising pump performance, system characteristics, control philosophy
  • Identification and quantification of potential energy saving opportunities and control improvements
  • Occasional supervising with pump testing at various client sites throughout UK if required
  • Reporting to the Consultancy Manager - Pumps and Systems



  • Office location to be agreed but partial work from home options available.
  • Working within a small team for major water clients.
  • Working closely with our key clients to ensure their requirements are understood / met
  • Junior Staff development as required
  • Occasional UK travel to client offices and sites


  • Site surveys to discuss site operation with controllers and to gather site readings
  • Gathering and interpretation of historical SCADA and kWh data to combine with measured readings from site
  • Analysis of data to define historical operation
  • Required to technically lead projects
  • Monitor/plan projects to ensure completed to time and budget (in conjunction with PM)


  • Familiarity with pumps and pumping systems essential
  • Familiarity with standard pump control philosophies
  • Experience of analysis of complex pumping systems
  • Comfortable working with and analysing large data sets
  • Able to understand and produce P&IDs, URS, FDS
  • Good communicational and written skills required
  • Competent in use and development of MS Excel for analysis and development of reports
  • Competent in use and development of MS Word for development of reports


  • 3yrs min relevant experience
  • Water industry experience essential
  • Technical / analytical background essential
  • Commissioning experience desirable
  • Degree in relevant engineering discipline preferred
