An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Development Engineer to work on the development activities within a leading off highways engineering manufacturer.

The main duties and daily activities will include;

* Machine and component testing, writing and issuing of associated reports.

* Assist in the Compilation machine and component testing and development programmes.

* Maintenance of development records and test reports.

* Supervision of XP resource allocated to assist with development tasks.

* Attend design / development meetings

* Maintenance and compilation of TCF.

* Product homologation and legislative conformance.

* Prototype build support

The ideal candidate should be qualified to Diploma or Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering related discipline.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence change, as well as ideally having 2 years experience in an off-road vehicle development environment.

Product knowledge of construction equipment & their applications is highly desirable along with a working knowledge of on-vehicle data acquisition, processing and vehicle testing.
