The Opportunity
Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is looking for an Engineering Resource Analyst to join their dynamic and growing team.
This permanent role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth within a progressive environment that utilises ground-breaking technologies and systems. The Engineering Resource Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day resourcing operations, supporting the Engineering Department in recruiting and allocating resources to meet programme commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering demand data across the UK business.
- Accumulate engineering supply forecasts to meet projected forward loads.
- Work with Programmes and Engineering to facilitate resource prioritisation and allocation.
- Identify process improvement areas to reduce inefficiencies in resource management.
- Develop management information using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, JIRA and QlikSense.
- Align future engineering resourcing with business development and financial management teams.
- Improve engineering productivity by accurate resourcing information and recommending visibility improvements.
- Oversee onboarding and personal induction plans for engineers.
- Track training and development needs for engineers.
