Job description
Our client, a leading company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Project Manager and two Project Engineers to join their team due to an urgent need to implement various non-infrastructure schemes across the region for Anglian Water. This is a permanent opportunity with availability for part-time or temporary positions that could lead to permanent roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the lifecycle of water-related projects from initial planning through to completion
- Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Implementing mechanical solutions and ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements
- Monitoring project progress, managing budgets, and reporting on project status
- Providing technical support and guidance to project teams
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies
- Problem-solving and addressing any issues that arise during the project execution
- Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships through effective communication
Job Requirements:
- Experience in project management or project engineering within the water sector
- Strong mechanical background; knowledge of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) is beneficial
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
