Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a solid understanding of NRSWA regulations and inspection protocols to contribute to the effective management and maintenance of highways and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site inspections to assess compliance with NRSWA regulations
- Identifying and reporting any non-compliance issues concerning street works and highway activities
- Liaising with contractors and utility companies to ensure all works are carried out to standard
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections and any resultant actions
- Providing technical advice and guidance on NRSWA compliance matters
- Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld at all times during inspections
- Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
- Attending meetings and providing reports as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience in NRSWA inspections or a similar role
- Comprehensive knowledge of NRSWA regulations and compliance
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting
- Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate inspection records
- Understanding of health and safety principles related to highway and public space works
