Job description
Our client, a leading provider in the water industry, is currently seeking two Regional Pump Engineers to join their team based in Tilbury. This permanent role is predominantly site-based, focused on servicing and maintaining pumps, hoses, and generators to a high standard within a given region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reducing backlogs of non-RFH equipment at various depots
- Undertaking major repairs and refurbishments
- Ensuring servicing is up-to-date both on-site and at depots
- Diagnosing faults and maintaining a variety of pumps, hoses, and generators
- Checking and tagging all equipment, updating service records
- Maintaining knowledge of products and full range of accessories
- Ensuring best safe working practices and use of appropriate PPE
- Reporting all incidents and accidents
Job Requirements:
- Experience with diesel pumps
- Mechanical skills essential
- Relevant pump qualifications or time-served pump engineer experience
- CITB/NVQ qualifications are preferable
- Valid driving licence
- Flexible attitude to suit the changing needs of the region
- Strong problem-solving skills and above-average fitting abilities

- 42.5-hour work week, generally Monday to Friday with shifts from 07:30-16:30
