Job description
Job Title: Pipelayer/Mains Layer (Water Industry)
Location: Anglian Water region (Northampton, Lincoln, Peterborough, Ipswich, Colchester, Norwich)
Job Type: 12+ month rolling contract
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Pipelayer/Mains Layer with a background in water infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of water pipelines across the Anglian Water region, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair water pipelines and mains.
- Operate machinery safely on-site.
- Follow health and safety standards and industry regulations.
- Complete accurate work documentation.
- Collaborate with site teams for timely project completion.
Required Qualifications:
- CSCS Card (essential).
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card (required).
- Previous experience in utilities or water projects.
- Strong knowledge of safety practices and regulations.
- Full UK driving license (preferred).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Anglian Water Passport (preferred).
- Streetworks Qualification (desirable).
- Other site-related qualifications.
Working Environment:
Work across various sites in the Anglian Water region, including Northampton, Lincoln, Peterborough, Ipswich, Colchester, and Norwich.
