Job description
Job Title: Mid-Level Project Manager (Aerospace - Composites) Full time / Hybrid
Location: Bristol (Hybrid On-site 3 days per week)
Contract Length: 6-month initial contract, with the likelihood of extension up to 2 years+
Rate: PAYE Up to £406 per day (Inside IR35) Umbrella Up to £485 per day
We are seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager with aerospace experience, ideally in composites structures, to join our team for an exciting contract opportunity based in Bristol. This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence 2 days per week, with flexibility to work from home for the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver projects related to aerospace structures, with a focus on composites.
- Oversee RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) management to ensure projects stay on track.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
- Handle stakeholder management, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across teams.
- Track and report on finance, ensuring that all activities align with project objectives and budget.
- Provide project support from concept through to implementation, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.
Must-Haves:
- Experience working as a project manager (not programme management level). As a guide, 5+ years Project Management experience and an Aerospace/Engineering background often works well.
- Aerospace industry experience, ideally with composites structures. Engineers who have moved into Project Management often work well in this area.
- Good RAID, Planning, Finance & stakeholder management skills
- Stakeholder management skills
- Desirable: Composites experience. Aerospace Structures experience.
