Job description
The Role
The role will support the delivery PM Capability Improvement Projects (People, Process and Tools) inline with the functional and build strategy.
This role is focused on delivering key project management expertise, governance and functional capability across many projects / programmes within the organisation, throughout the business hierarchy.
The role will involve providing specialist support in areas such as training, resource planning, competency modelling or providing specialist support to operational project teams on aspects of PM practice.
The role owner should have experience of working in a build/manufacturing environment
The role owner should have a clear understanding of project and build lifecycles.
Role Responsibilities:
Not limited to...
- Governance and assurance reporting.
- Delivering training.
- Delivering communications and engagements.
- Process improvement.
- Delivery of IT improvement projects and liasing with the workforce within the work programmes.
What BAE Systems are looking for, from you:
You will have a background in Defence and Manufacturing.
You will have project management experience.
You will have experience with process improvement.
Security Requirements: SC, ITAR & UK EYES ONLY
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restriction. If you are unsure as to whether you are eligible, please contact me to discuss.

The Umbrella rate quoted above is the Gross Umbrella rate (i.e. the rate we pay to the Umbrella Company inclusive of ALL employment costs).
