Job description
Our client, an influential organisation in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Traffic Engineer on a contract basis to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing traffic management schemes, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Conducting traffic impact assessments and analysing data
- Developing traffic signal plans and timings
- Providing technical support for road safety audits
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to deliver projects
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations on findings
- Managing project timelines and budgets effectively
Job Requirements:
- Experience in traffic engineering, including the design and implementation of traffic management schemes
- Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in traffic analysis software and data interpretation
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Understanding of road safety audits and relevant legislation
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
