Job description
Our client, operating within the rail communications sector, is currently seeking a working Electrical/SISS Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves upgrading systems at Flint station, specifically focusing on the installation of electrical and SISS systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and installation of communication and electrical systems
- Oversee the work of Electricians and Communications Installers
- Ensure the installation and integration of CCTV, CIS, PA, and Access Control systems
- Handle the associated cabling, small power, and containment tasks
- Maintain safety and quality standards according to the project requirement
Job Requirements:
- Experience in SISS and electrical system installations
- Current PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification
- SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme) certification
- Preferably ECS/JIB certification
- Strong background in rail station projects electrical and SISS projects involving CCTV, CIS, PA, and Access Control systems, Containment and associated Cabling/small power
- Ability to manage and supervise installation teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
