Job description
Site Manager
Our client is a key player in the power utilities and power distribution sector, focused on electricity infrastructure projects. They are currently seeking a Site Manager with expertise in electric vehicle charging points and high-voltage systems to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent role requiring UK-wide travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end site management of electrical infrastructure projects up to 11kV
- Overseeing the installation and commissioning of electric vehicle charging points
- Liaising with local authorities and streetworks teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Collaborating with internal teams and clients to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Providing technical guidance and support throughout project lifecycles
- Ensuring all projects adhere to health and safety standards
- Monitoring project progress and financial performance
- Reporting on project status to senior management and stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- Experience in site management within the power utilities or power distribution sector
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure up to 11kV
- Expertise in electric vehicle charging points and associated technologies
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems and streetworks regulations
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- SMSTS & NRSWA certification required
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required
