Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with in house design teams, third-party specialist design teams, and the manufacturers of the steel work.
- Processing Technical Queries (TQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) from the site construction team.
- Providing immediate answers to field engineering questions and managing the process for queries needing further investigation.
- Expediting information flow to the construction team to ensure consistent project progress.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in structural engineering, particularly within the power or energy industry.
- Strong understanding of structural steel engineering and modifications.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with multiple teams across different locations.
- Proficiency in processing Technical Queries (TQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Ability to effectively manage information flow and progress tracking for construction teams
The position will be a 50-hour working week and is expected to last 6 to 8 months starting in January.
