Job description
Our client, a Railway Contractor is seeking a Resource Co-Ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly contribute to resource allocation and optimisation across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in overseeing resource allocation and optimisation
- Managing the onboarding process, including paperwork, training, and timesheets
- Allocating resources and liaising with agencies and labour suppliers
- Ensuring adherence to processes and procedures within deadlines
- Covering a busy labour desk, managing the sourcing of electricians, telecoms engineers, and operatives
- Preparing and distributing reports on resource statistics and trends
- Maintaining up-to-date resource records for audit and legal compliance
- Organising and booking training sessions as required
- Managing Sentinel records and providing data for fatigue management
- Booking accommodation and travel when needed
- Providing guidance and support to project teams on resource-related matters
Job Requirements:
- Experience in recruitment, labour/resource management roles
- Highly organised with excellent administrative skills
- Experience in managing onboarding paperwork, training, and resource allocation
- Ability to work within deadlines and maintain high accuracy
- Experience in the rail, construction, Comms or M&E sectors is desirable
- Sound knowledge of maintaining records and ensuring compliance with audits and legal requirements
- Exemplary organisational skills and high attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with agencies and project teams
Benefits:
- Salary £30000 -£35000 dependant on experience
- Annual Employee Bonus Scheme up to 12%
- Salary £30,000 - £35000 per annum
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working model; 3/4 days in central London office
