Job description
Our client - One of the leading defense companies in UK is looking for Project Manager - Delivery to join their team on a contract basis.
The role:
- Managing product management and planning of contracts for the David Brown Team.
- Planning improvement activity.
- Experience of leading improve activities.
- Identify key performance metrics.
- Coordinating and leading daily governance of the day to day work.
- Overseeing the product leads activities.
- Looking more broadly across how the gearbox is performing.
- Candidate to create a baseline plan and apply project management principles including budegts / what is being achieved.
- Comfortable discussing commercial and financial issues.
- Accountable for the budget, performance and results of the team.
- Ensures essential procedures are followed based on own knowledge of Project Management. (GG13 may formulate policies and procedures with in your own area) (GG14 would be expected to influence the development of strategy within own area, including control of resource and policy formulation).
Skills:
- Working within an experience of a product environment.
- Experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Project Management (tools, techniques, practices) and basic knowledge of other functions such as Commercial & Finance.
- Able to resolve & guide others in solving complex project-related issues, but the normal is to follow established procedures.
- Extensive understanding of the Business environment for own project and team.
- Recognised as an experienced Project Management practitioner.
