Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement wireless voice, video, and data networks in alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Commission and deploy wireless network solutions, ensuring all systems are configured and tested to meet performance specifications.
- Provide on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for wireless communication networks.
- Manage and oversee field service operations, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services.
- Collaborate with project teams to support the successful completion of network deployment projects.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments, providing recommendations for network enhancements or optimisations.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network installations, configurations, and any service modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all field operations.
- Provide training to customers on system usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve service delivery and performance.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in troubleshooting and technical support of wireless networking technologies.
- Proven experience in the design, commissioning, deployment, and maintenance of wireless networks, particularly voice, video, and data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Previous experience in field service operations with a focus on wireless networks.
- Solid project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
- Relevant technical certifications or qualifications (e.g., CCNA, CWNP, or similar).
- Previous experience in the communications industry or with wireless service providers is a plus.
- A full UK driving licence is required as the role involves travel to customer sites.
