Test Engineer Jobs

Matchtech consultants can offer both high level and low level test opportunities. Test engineer jobs require candidates to carry fault-find activities (and sometimes minor repair such as soldering) on prototype and in-service products. They might also be involved in creating and performing acceptance test routines and test scripts, for use with manual or automated test equipment (ATE). Electronic test engineers are likely to use tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters for component and system level test. Software test engineers will often use tools such as LabVIEW and TestStand and comply with stringent industry specific standards (e.g. CENELEC and DO-178b). Software test engineers might belong to a professional body such as ISEB.
