Job description
Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Waterlooville, is currently seeking a Stores Operative to join their busy team on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stock and equipment
- Receive deliveries and input onto MRP system
- Report any discrepancies or quality issues to suppliers and raise reject notes as appropriate
- Check all materials and components correspond to purchase orders
- Ensure the accuracy of all recorded stock through appropriate systems and processes
- Receipt and issue goods to relevant jobs or areas
- Store goods in appropriate locations
- Ensure goods despatched to the workforce are controlled and recorded
- Monitor stock levels daily and input onto MRP system
- Manage stock levels as appropriate
Job Requirements:
- Experience in stores, stock control, or materials management (an electronics background would be advantageous)
- Proficiency in using computers, preferably with experience of MRP systems
- A Reach FLT licence is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00.
