Your career at Matchtech
Matchtech is an engineering specialist recruitment company focusing on recruitment within the automotive, aerospace, marine, energy and infrastructure sectors. We are part of the Gattaca group of companies, which provides engineering and technology recruitment solutions around the world.
The majority of our employees are recruiters, ranging from Trainee Recruitment Consultants to Team Leaders and Department Managers. We also have a Group Support function, which supports our recruiters and includes our marketing, legal, IT, HR and finance teams.
We have been established for over 30 years and we are continuing to grow as we expand into new markets and international regions.
Working in recruitment
Our consultants come from a range of backgrounds – some join us as graduates with no previous experience of recruitment and others join us as experienced recruiters seeking a new challenge. The thing they all have in common is ambition and a competitive streak.
If you’re considering a career in recruitment, but are unsure if it’s the right job for you, then you might like to read the REC's (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) guide to a Career in Recruitment.
Working for Matchtech
With 30 years’ experience in specialist recruitment, we have a good idea of what people look for in a job. We like to offer our employees a career with wide ranging benefits and a clear development path.
We have a strong ethos for promotion from within - almost all of our senior management team and directors have been promoted internally from recruitment consultants. Team Leader status in 3-4 years is very achievable and typically we would expect your career to progress on a yearly basis.
Promotion is determined by your overall performance. Your overall team contribution, ability to meet targets, desire to succeed and willingness to take on responsibility are more important than length of service alone.
As well as good prospects for career progression, Matchtech offers training and a fun and sociable working environment.
