Our Client is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer, or Senior Electrical Engineer in the Water Sector

Our Client has developed a reputation as a progressive and forward-thinking consultancy through the consistent and repeated delivery of high-quality work to clients, as reflected by the long-standing relationships they continue to enjoy with clients across the industry.

As a result of our growing workload, they are seeking to appoint an Electrical Engineer, or Senior Electrical Engineer, to join their Water sector team based in either Birmingham or Redditch offices (with hybrid working allowing for a mix of home- and in-office working).

You will be involved in the whole project life cycle from optioneering through to detailed design and installation. You will also be involved with feasibility studies, site surveys and investigations. There are opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects including in water, wastewater, energy, infrastructure and environmental sectors.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Experience in an Electrical Engineering role, ideally with experience of the Water or related infrastructure-related sector
• Either be a Chartered Electrical Engineer or be working towards Chartership
• Experienced in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports and be familiar with collaborative reviews and designs of solutions
• Able to produce Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams as well as providing engineering input to collaborative design outputs, such as General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
